Diamondback Rattlesnakes are common to the southwest and very much feared. As venomus as they may be, the likeilhood of anyone being killed from a bite is small. Someone is 9 times more likely to die from a lightning strike than a snake bite.

I've always been enthralled with snakes, reptiles in general. They are truly beautiful animals, built of solid muscle. I feel we need to see snakes in new ways.
