A new year always brings bright colors to my mind. Although winter still may be at play, the burst of color and life is just around the corner.

This piece was highly influenced by one of my favorite songs, Butterflyz by Alicia Keys. The smooth piano while she sings ‘you give me butterflies’ brings to mind a vibrant scene full of such beauty while you stand there in awe. The feeling of butterflies from love, nature, and life is what this piece represents.
